Sahara Bridal started in the spare room of our house in Perth, Western Australia. A long time dream that was registered as Sahara Bridal in 2023.

Perth and regional Western Australia is both the foundation and inspiration in what has become a reality. WA has so many talented, supportive and creative women to learn and collaborate with. Perth is where Sahara Bridal’s roots and beginnings are. We are so grateful for the people that believed in our brand and took a chance on us.

Perth will continue to be a home for Sahara Bridal.

In January 2025 Sahara Bridal made the move to Port Macquarie in the Mid-North Coast of NSW. We are so excited for this new chapter for Sahara Bridal.

The visionary, Sarah Haywood is behind Sahara Bridal and is passionate about creating beautiful pieces that accentuates the bride’s beauty on her wedding day.

Sahara Bridal was inspired by years of travelling throughout different parts of the world, activating a deep appreciation for the environment, sustainability and fashion throughout the ages.

As the founder of Sahara Bridal, Sarah aspires to educate brides and the wedding industry about sustainable methods to create the day of their dreams.

That is why all Sahara Bridal tulle is 100% recycled, made from plastic bottles, polyester and yarn off cuts. Sarah also sources luxury bridal materials from discontinued designs that would otherwise end up in landfill. 

Because all of our tulles are recycled and our pieces are made to order, Sarah assures brides that they are choosing an environmentally friendly, one-of-a-kind bridal piece. Sarah has loved bridal wear since she was a little girl. She believes it is a privilege to make beautiful pieces for brides to wear on the day of their dreams.

Sarah firmly believes that there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the love radiate from the happy couple.
